Your very own jeans can be maternity jeans, or just more comfortable everyday jeans. You already know they fit, you know they're comfortable, except for its current waistband. I can help you there! You will be sending your own jeans to me to converted. The band is 3" elastic covered by knit fabric in your choice of color or print. If your pants don't currently zip or button, you may want to consider the V-fly option listing. It's time to Convert! HELPFUL SUGGESTIONS FROM CHERYL Which jeans should I send? Just remember the suggestions here for the best conversion. The jeans you send should fit you comfortably, but you are no longer able to button or zip them the entire way up. A good fit is not too loose, and of course, not too tight. The new "guy fit" and "long & lean" and "low-rise" women's styles work very well! Men's jeans are honest in sizing, for the most part. Waist x inseam. Pretty straight forward stuff. There is also a more gradual line from waist to hip, and as that waistline disappears with pregnancy, this will often be a more natural fit. Jeans with stretch ROCK, even 100% cotton jean-purists like me appreciate that little extra give. The Belly Band is designed to support your belly; the correct fit in the hips and butt holds your jeans up. Jeans need to normally (pre-pregnancy) ride at least an 1" below the belly button (this doesn't mean they simply "hang" there with lots of crotch room droop it means the "correct" fit has them hitting below the navel). "Classic Fit" women's jeans of any brand will generally not work. But you can send me a picture or a link and we can talk about it. Now.a bit about the 2 band types: It is a pretty even split between the two styles when women order jeans. Some order one or the other, some order a few pair of each. I would say the 1/2-demi might offer a tad more front support since the original back waist band is still there, and the full-demi may offer a little bit more give in the later months. Do you convert more than jeans? Why yes I do! I can convert shorts, skirts, slacks, khakis, etc. As long as they fit as described in the paragraph above, they most likely can be converted.
