Presenting: A simple & divine vintage wireless, off white, soft cup bra. A 1960s minimalist bra by Warners lingerie called the “Little Fibber”. -Dates from the 1960s. -Made by Warner’s. -After exhaustive research I am confident that this is their bra model called “The Little Fibber”. -Name comes from the thin “fiberfill” layer added to the cups, making this a very slightly padded bra. -It is intended to give a small boost in fullness and size, as well as rounding out the shape. -Essentially enhances the wearers natural breasts instead of using thick padding to create a larger size & shape. -(included in the photos two of the advertisements for reference). - 45 % polyester, 31% nylon and 24% cotton. -Labeled as a size 34 A. -Slightly warm toned, off white color, possibly ivory or eggshell. Key design elements/features: - Full to almost full, seamed cup style that was trending during this era. -3 seamed cup construction: -a vertical seam going up the middle provides lift. -the horizontal seam across the top provides full coverage and security. -Center gore is prominent and wide, as well as the cradle under the cups. -Both classic features of bra styles from the mid 20th century. -No under wires or any other type of boning. - 4 metal eye closures at its end, oriented in 2 rows of two eyes each on one side of back opening. -Two metal hook closures attached to the back end of other side of back opening. -Shoulder straps are moderately wide & adjustable length wise, and also made from an elastic band. Condition Rating: EXCELLENT -Some minimal functional defects. -The condition of the elastic material that is located within the two gores on the outermost side of each cup & the band on the back of the left side that holds the eye closures has lost basically all of its original stretch and elasticity. -Given measurements are virtually fixed and it will only slightly expand when attempting to stretch. - Much more stretch left in shoulder straps than the band & gores but still lost a good amount compared to its original elasticity. Measurements (inches): *Band (Unstretched): 28 ¾ *Band (Stretched): ~31 3/8 *Cup Width: 4 ¾ *Bottom Cup Depth: 2 7/8 *Cup Separation: 1 *Center Gore Height: 2 ¾ *Side Wing Height: 3 5/8 *Cup Height: 5 3/8 *Strap Width: 5/8 *Hooks: 2 This garment was handwashed, soaked & line dried in the fresh breeze. It also has been steamed multiple times, and will be steamed right before being packaged & shipped. This garment is clean & ready to wear the moment it arrives to you.
